The Italian Gadget
There can be unexpected dangers, even in the life of an electronics engineer. And when Fred Cannon goes to Rome to examine an Italian invention, he does not realise what he is letting himself in for – not even when he finds that his luggage has been tampered with; nto even when he is seduced by a beautiful redhead who can recognize the drawing of a pre-amp stage when she sees one.
Fred is sooon caught up in a web of industrial espionage that involves him with gunmen, kidnappings, chases in fast cars and girls in distress.
Henry Calvin (the pseudonym of a well-known Scottish novelist) is at the top of his form in his third thriller and has written a fast-moving, exciting, highly entertaining novel of which it would be criminal to explain more.
